Step 1: Choose Your Chain
The chain is the foundation of your bracelet. At Balboa Gold, all of our bracelet chains are 18K gold filled — a high-quality, tarnish-resistant alternative to solid gold that stays beautiful with everyday wear. We offer several styles ranging from delicate to bold, so there's something for every aesthetic.
What size should you choose?
- 6" — best for petite to small wrists (measure ~5.5")
- 6.5" — our most popular size, fits most average wrists (measure ~6")
- 7" — great for larger wrists or if you prefer a relaxed fit (measure ~6.5")
To measure: wrap a soft tape measure around your wrist just below the wrist bone, then add 0.5" for a comfortable fit.
Step 2: Pick Your Charms
This is the fun part. We carry hundreds of charm styles — initials, birthstones, zodiac signs, animals, symbols, botanicals, and more. You can select anywhere from 1 to 7 charms per bracelet.
How many charms should you choose?
- 6" bracelet — best with 3–5 charms
- 6.5" bracelet — best with 4–6 charms
- 7" bracelet — best with 5–7 charms
A good rule of thumb: mix sizes. Place larger statement charms in the center and smaller accent charms toward the ends. Our team spaces everything evenly so the finished piece flows naturally on your wrist.
Step 3: We Build It for You
Once you've made your selections, add to cart and leave the rest to us. Every charm bracelet is hand-assembled by our team in Costa Mesa, CA — not a factory, not a fulfillment center. We check every charm placement before it ships.
