Balboa Gold Return & Exchange Policy

At Balboa Gold, we strive to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. Due to the nature of jewelry, we have established the following return and exchange policy:

Refunds & Returns

  • Final Sale Items: Earrings, permanent jewelry, charm jewelry and sale items are FINAL SALE. (Earrings are final sale due to hygiene reasons.)
  • All other items are eligible for a full refund within 30 days with proof of purchase and in unused condition. (subject to inspection) 
  • Process

    • All returns or exchanges must be processed in-store or initiated by contacting info@balboagold.com.
    • For online orders, customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was damaged or defective upon arrival. We recommend using insured shipping as Balboa Gold is not responsible for items lost in transit.
  • After 30 days:
    • All items may be eligible for store credit (except earrings) if they meet our return standards and proof of purchase is provided.
    • Store credit will be issued on a gift card.

Refund Policy

  • Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment.
  • For items purchased with a gift card, refunds will be issued as store credit.
  • Shipping fees and insurance are non-refundable.

Exchanges

  • Exchanges are allowed within a 14-day window if the item meets the return conditions.
  • If exchanging for an item of lesser value, the difference will be refunded to original payment method.
  • If exchanging for an item of greater value, the customer is responsible for paying the difference.  

Online Orders

CANCEL OR CHANGE ORDER - You can cancel or change your order within 24 hours of ordering by contacting info@balboagold.com.

Processing & Shipping:

  • Orders have a processing time of 2-4 business days. Tracking information will be sent via email.
  • Please note: The shipping method you select DOES NOT change the processing time.
  • If we need to communicate with you regarding your order and do not receive a response within 24 hours, our team will make an executive decision to proceed.
  • During promotional or holiday periods when order volume is elevated, processing times may be longer than expected.

Permanent Jewelry Policy

  • Permanent Jewelry is FINAL SALE.
  • Repairs:
    • Free repairs are offered if customer has original chain.
  • Replacements:
    If the chain breaks and cannot be found, we will replace it:
    • Within 30 days: 100% replacement for the chain, including the charm.
    • Within 5 months: 50% off a replacement chain with proof of purchase (the charm is also eligible for 50% off).
    • After 5 months: No discounts are available.
